4th class visited Deansgrange library today to meet Irish author Alan Early. Alan wrote the Arthur Quinn series of books. We had fun learning about Vikings and Harriet and William were excellent participants in the ‘Who Wants to be a Viking God?’ quiz. We had a great time creating a character with Alan’s help!
We particularly enjoyed learning about the writing process and had no idea how long a writer spends planning and researching a book before they begin to write!
Thank you to Deansgrange library for the invitation to the workshop and to Alan for teaching us so much.
