Just before the Easter holidays 4th class headed to Dalkey for a tour of St. Begnet’s Church and Goat’s Castle. We had a great day out learning about life in the Middle Ages. We walked the battlements, made our own coins, were terrified by an escapee slave and even paid a visit to the barber. We had great fun but I think we are all in agreement that we are happy that we live in the 21st century and not the middle ages! Thank you Mrs. Malseed for organising our trip and a huge thank you to all the mums and dads who provided lifts to and from Dalkey, without you our trip wouldn’t have been possible.
